TRS ha realizzato un prototipo di un apparato dedicato alla sicurezza degli esercizi commerciali, chiamato Retail Security Network, costituito da un video recorder, da un insieme di videocamere e da un dispositivo di chiamata (un tasto, a filo e/o wireless).
La pressione del tasto permette all’esercente di inviare un allarme ad una sala operativa centralizzata, la quale riceverà tutte le informazioni relative all’esercente, la sua posizione sul territorio, ecc. Inoltre, entro pochi secondi dall’invio dell’allarme gli operatori della sala operativa saranno anche in grado di visualizzare le riprese video delle videocamere presenti, ascoltare l’audio ambientale, visionare le registrazioni video/audio.
L’apparato può essere configurato anche per inviare un allarme automatico, quando vengono riscontrati eventi anomali (rumori sospetti o movimenti durante le ore notturne, ecc).
Il numero e il tipo di videocamere è variabile secondo le esigenze di copertura degli ambienti che costituiscono la realtà commerciale che si intende proteggere. Eventuali videocamere, anche analogiche, già disponibili all’esercente possono essere integrate nell’apparato, che è basato su Milestone© XProtect Express™. Uno client specifico per gli operatori RSN presso la Sala Operativa è stato invece progettato e implementato da TRS.

TRS has developed a prototype dedicated to the security of retail integrating a video network recorder, a set of cameras, a calling device (a push button, wired and/or wireless) all driven by a set of software modules called to manage the hardware and the business logic implemented in the platform called Retail Security Network (RSN).
When a retailer press the button an alarm notification is immediately delivered to a Central Operations Room, which will receive all the information related to the retail/er, its position on the land, etc.. Moreover, within a few seconds from the triggered alarm, control room operators will be able to view the live video and audio from the environment, and playback the video/audio recordings. In a few second police or private security operator can trigger the proper and effective reaction operation.
The device can also be configured to send an automatic alarm when abnormal events are detected (suspicious noises or movements during the night, etc.).
The number and type of cameras is not fixed. It changes according to the coverage requirements of the real environments to protect. Any video camera, even analog, already available to the operator can be integrated in the system. The RSN device, the appliance to be installed in the retailer area, is based on Milestone© XProtect Express™, while a specific client has been developed by TRS.
